Today the state of Massachusetts confirmed 83 actual cases of Coronavirus in Bourne when the town was only admitting to one confirmed case. This is a shocking development. This is why this type of reporting is so vital. We should all know how common the virus is in our towns and it is an extreme disservice to the community to withhold this public health information.

The town of Bourne is STILL not reporting updates on the Coronavirus outbreak. There is a weekly report posted on Friday, 4/10/2020, but it fails to mention any cases.

3/27/2020 The Bourne Health Department
On March 19, 2020, the President of Cape Cod Senior Residences in Pocasset reported of a confirmed case of COVID-19 from this facility within our Town. This has swiftly evolved to become a cluster of confirmed and suspect cases. Symptoms range from mild to severe including fever, cough, shortness of breath, loss of smell and taste, and diarrhea.
Community transmission is unmistakable and there are other confirmed cases within the Town of Bourne that appear to be unrelated.
Note, at this point, there are no real numbers on the confirmed or suspect cases. we will update this when we have more information.
