Brewster Artists @ Cotuit Juried Show

Brewster artists John Stringfellow and Val Roy Gerischer have six works in the juried show at the Cotuit Center for the Arts through December 23, 2020. These works represent the artists’ work done during the isolation of the pandemic when both were forced to give up their day jobs. This turned out to be a real blessing for them both as they were able to focus their energies and devote themselves to experimental techniques, international photobank sourcing, and creating.

Val’s work has undergone a transformation during this period. It has gotten much more experimental and expressive. The pieces show his attention to detail and a new found freedom of adventure and fantasy. The pieces that he is showing are:

  • Metamorphosis or (inhouse title) Dr. Who and the Attack of the Beautiful Butterflies: Mixed Media 24 X 24 inches – Price $3,200
  • Meta Study 1: Mixed Media 8 X 8 inches – Price $250
  • Meta Study 2: Mixed Media 8 X 8 inches- Price $250
