Brewster Current Cases: 86 (71 in long-term care facilities)
4/20/2020
By April 20, following three rounds of testing, 60 of Pleasant Bay Nursing Center’s 92 residents have tested positive for COVID-19. Only 5 of their residents remain untested.

Brewster is making periodic updates to their numbers and the town is posting stories about financial assistance, health tips and community news on a daily basis and sometimes several times a day.
Following updated guidance from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, Brewster town officials are providing regular updates on the current number of Brewster residents who have officially tested positive for coronavirus. Brewster’s first 2 cases were confirmed on March 21. As of April 5, there are 16 positive cases reported in Brewster.
4/14/2020 Brewster Health Department
Following updated guidance from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, Brewster town officials will be providing regular updates on the current number of Brewster residents who have officially tested positive for coronavirus. Brewster’s first 2 cases were confirmed on March 21. As of April 11, there are 20 positive cases reported in Brewster.
3/22/2020 Brewster Health Department
The Town of Brewster was notified today of its first two confirmed cases of coronavirus (COVID-19). All proper protocols, including contact investigation and notification, are being followed by the Visiting Nurses Association of Cape Cod in coordination with the Brewster Health Department. Actions taken are in accordance with the latest guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. Due to privacy laws, no further details about the patients will be provided.
