There are now 1,111 confirmed cases of Coronavirus/COVID-19 on Cape Cod according to the state of Massachusetts numbers that are reported daily. That’s an increase of 18 new cases since yesterday and it was a moderate testing day again today with 8,536 new tests reported statewide today. The weekly numbers for each town on the Cape are out every Wednesday, released by the state. These numbers tend to be more reliable and regular than some of the reports released by the town health departments. In our table below, find columns for town, county and state counts of Coronavirus cases. Sometimes, there are numbers for the number of people who have recovered from the virus, the number of people in the hospital, and the number of deaths. We update numbers that the town reports when we find an update on the town web site. There are differences in the number of cases that a town reports, and the numbers that show up on the weekly state reports. See the key below the chart for more information on the symbols used.
