I’ve always been a nut for homegrown vegetables, but I’ve never had the luck in growing my own that my father did. He was a gardening genius, having grown up on a farm in Pansey, Alabama. This year, we decided to bring all the tomatoes up to our upper deck off the back of the house and to plant them all in pots. With the generous advice of Monty from Gardener’s World, our summer crop is flourishing and providing us with tasty, beautiful tomatoes in a wide range of colors and shapes. This video and this crop of green, gold, and red wonders are dedicated to my father, John Robert Stringfellow.
