I Sell Homes on Cape Cod

Home is a sacred place where we come to relax and recharge, gather to celebrate holidays and personal milestones with family and friends. I have a very special job, helping people find homes on Cape Cod. Some of my clients are looking for vacation homes, some are looking for retirement homes, and others are looking for investment properties. My name is John Stringfellow and I am a realtor with Kinlin Grover in Brewster.
I moved to Cape Cod in 2016 after selling my business in New Jersey. I had a non-compete and had to find a new place for my business ventures and for my home. My partner had done summer stock theatre on the Cape in the seventies and had fond memories of the beaches, the food and the lively arts scene here. I had been searching for months over New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York and in every region of Massachusetts. That search proved crucial to my interest in real estate. I got hooked on real estate and the search for the perfect home. When I moved here, it wasn’t long before I started studying to get my license to sell real estate.
Upon receiving my license, I checked out the biggest and best brokerages on the Cape and found that Kinlin Grover had the most to offer me. I was highly impressed with Annie Blatz, the manager of the Brewster office and with the roster of great agents who called KGB (Kinlin Grover-Brewster) home. I hit the ground running by selling an adorable cottage to a friend from work that was looking for his first home. From there, I met a wonderful group of people from Connecticut, the South Shore and Rhode Island, all looking to pitch their tent on Cape Cod.

The Creative Thinker

I’m extremely creative. As an artist and an entrepreneur, I’m always exploring new ventures. My new websites, Cape Cod Star and Go2.Guide are events calendars and lifestyle magazines for Cape Cod and Massachusetts. I use these skills to help my client find the right home and to think outside the box about the issues that come our way.

The Listener

I’ve always been better at listening than talking. I inherited my father’s strong and silent demeanor. I believe that attentive intelligent listening is the most important skill that an agent can have in helping the home buyer find the perfect place.
