Centerville July 4th Parade
The Centerville Independence Day parade begins at 9:00 am on July 4, 2022, with children gathering at Centerville Elementary School. At 10:00 am, the fire truck starts out at Bay Lane, goes to Bumps River Road, Park Avenue, Main Street, and then on to the Centerville Recreation Center. (rear parking lot) The Centerville Civic Association will serve grilled hot dogs, cold drinks, and ice cream. There will be some old-fashioned field games with Boy Scout troop 54, a sack race, field bowling, a candy scavenger hunt, and musical chairs. There will be face painting by local church ladies.
Awards will be given for the best costume, float, bike, and the ugliest dog.
