Horticulture Clinic

The Cape Cod Cooperative Extension Horticulture Clinic is now operational for the season. Through the month of March, the clinic will be open on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The clinic offers a service by providing answers to horticulture questions, plant and insect diagnostics, and pH soil testing. The clinic is operated by Master Gardener’s who are trained volunteers available to answer any of your gardening questions based on unbiased horticulture information.

It’s been a 100 years since the Smith-Lever Act was signed and Extension joined county government!

Cape Cod Cooperative Extension is the education department for Barnstable County. CCCE educates the public on topics as diverse as deer ticks to water quality and much, much more. CCCE is part of a national educational system, developed to convey research-based knowledge from Land Grant Universities (in CCCE’s case, UMASS Amherst), to the general public. This national outreach system was mandated by the Smith-Lever Act in Congress in 1914.

The event is ongoing.
