Life Drawing
The Provincetown Art Association and Museum life drawing classes are back, in person, in-studio; they are live again!
Join us for Life Drawing every Tuesday and Friday morning from 9:30-11:30 am. Please register for the session at least the day before. Zoom meeting info will be sent the morning of the session by 9 am. The meeting will open at 9, and the model will begin posing at 9:30. Participants must have their cameras on and their microphones muted. If you have a punch card, please email kiah@paam.org a photo of your card, and she will keep track of the punches! If you’d like to purchase more than 1 session at a time, simply type in the amount and leave it in the comments box at the bottom of the registration page. Please read the guidelines on the materials list for more information. Tech questions? Email kiah@paam.org, and let’s chat!
This is the description for the regular life drawing sessions.
Life drawing classes open at 9:30 a.m. every Tuesday and Friday at the Provincetown Art Association throughout the year. The sessions feature live models, and easels are provided. The sessions last for two hours. The cost is quite low at $10.00 per person per session or $45.00 for 5 sessions. No preregistration is required, and walk-ins are welcome.
The sessions are staged upstairs at the Museum School. Artists are asked to enter the Bangs Street entrance. There is no parking on-site, and you should know that there is no parking on Tuesdays in front of the museum from May to October because of street sweeping.
A schedule of models is posted, and the sessions feature male and female models on alternating weeks. The Tuesday sessions feature long poses, and the Friday sessions feature short poses.
Get more information about the sessions on the PAAM website.
