Martha’s Vineyard Fireworks

Martha’s Vineyard brings back its July 4th party this year

Martha’s Vineyard staged fireworks over Edgartown Harbor as a fitting climax to a full day of small-town American fun to celebrate Independence Day. The fireworks should start at dusk, at about 9:00 pm. Admission is free. The fireworks were organized and paid for by the town of Edgartown.

The fireworks are staged on a barge positioned just outside Edgartown harbor. I assume any place along the harbor is excellent for viewing the fireworks. Lighthouse Beach should be a great spot to watch and photograph the show.

MV celebrates the fourth with an afternoon and night full of all-American events in Edgartown. The day begins in the late afternoon with a barbecue and a parade. The barbecue starts at 4:00 and runs till 8:00 pm at the Old Whaling Church. The parade begins at 5:00 pm.
