Orleans July 4th Parade

The Orleans 4th of July Parade showcases the pride of the Orleans community and is full of music, celebration, and fun. The parade features floats, marching bands, military units, scout troops, antique cars, classic cars, motorcycles, local businesses, and non-profit groups.

The Parade is on Monday, July 4, 2022 and begins at 10:00 am.

Motorcycle riders should assemble at the tennis courts. Bands and military units should gather at Orleans Elementary School on Eldredge Park Way. Antique car owners should gather at the Lower Cape Dental Associates parking lot on Eldredge Park Way.

All participants should arrive at Nauset Regional Middle School on Route 28 by 8:30 am on the morning of the parade. Floats, those walking or marching in the parade, and vehicles will be directed from here to the lower parking lot to line up in the order of arrival. All members that are marching together should arrive at the same time. Participants can be dropped off near the tennis courts no one will be allowed through the Eldredge Park Way entrance to the NRMS.

The order of the parade procession is based on the place you get in line and a scheme of alternating music, floats, vehicles, and walking/marching groups. During the parade, participants should only stop in front of the reviewing stand so that gaps can be eliminated and so that the parade can run smoothly. Parade monitors will walk the route to make sure things run smoothly.

The parade committee will present 3 awards in each category, business, family, and non-profit. The awards are presented after the parade in the Middle School parking lot near the clamshell.

The parade will be rain or shine unless the weather is extremely dangerous. The Orleans Police department will have the latest information on weather conditions and parade plans.
