Yarmouth Seaside Festival

The Yarmouth Seaside Festival is scheduled for Columbus Day Weekend, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, October 6, 7, 8, 2018. The festival features a wide range of activities from sand sculpting to a road race.

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the festival. The celebration also includes a fireworks display, a bonfire on the beach, carnival rides and games, a bed race and a canoe/kayak race.

The craft fair features over 125 craft people from New England making ceramics, jewelry, and gift items. The craft fair opens on Saturday and Sunday at 10:00 am and closes each day at 5:00 pm.

There will be activities for the entire family. Visitors will find food vendors, live music, children’s entertainment, rides, and games.

  • Saturday, October 6
    • 10-12: Pumpkin decorating
    • 11: Bed Races
    • All Day: Kids Tent Shows
    • 5-8 pm: Bonfire @ Bass River Beach
  • Sunday, October 7
    • 9: Seaside Road Race
    • All Day: Kids Tent Shows
    • 12: Seaside Parade
    • 8 pm: Fireworks at Seagull Beach
  • Monday, October 8
    • 9-12: Sand Sculpture Contest @ Bass River Beach
    • 10: Canoe & Kayak Race
    • 12: Awards @ Riverway Lobster House

The festival takes place at Joshua Sears Memorial Field on Wood Road in South Yarmouth.

Free parking is available, but get there early to get a spot. VIP is available for $5.00 at Town Hall or behind Bridgewater State University.
