Falmouth Coronavirus Update: 5/8/20

140 people have tested positive for Coronavirus in Falmouth, but over 90% have recovered and are out of isolation. The numbers in town are down to 14% of the total number of cases on the Cape. This is a huge improvement for the town as earlier in April the town had 23% of the cases. Scott McGann specifically relates this change to the number of cases that have been found in the long term care facilities in Brewster and Harwich.
McGann also notes that the trendline is looking good for Falmouth as they are beginning to flatten the curve, in lines with what is happening in the county at large. In Plymouth County, the trend line is still increasing rather steeply.

Thank you, Mr. McGann, for this excellent report and for your perspective in this crisis.
