Harwich Coronavirus Update

Harwich: 4/24/2020:
Health Department Director Meggan Eldredge reported that Harwich had 29 cases with one death. She also noted that new cases had been found at the Wingate at Harwich long term care facility and that the National Guard would begin testing soon.

Harwich is not updating numbers in any way. It is rather mystifying.

Harwich is making all of their updates on video. They have been very reluctant to talk about the number of cases in the town. They are admitting that the number of cases is increasing, but that is all that they will say.
3/21/2020 Harwich Health Department Press Release.
As of March 20, 2020, there are 413 confirmed cases and 1 death in Massachusetts due to COVID-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus.  In Harwich, there are currently 2 confirmed cases and many people are under self-quarantine due to being a close contact of a confirmed case.
