What makes Head of the Meadow Beach unique?

Head of the Meadow Beach is a marvelous beach in Truro. This beach is managed and maintained by the National Park Service. The parking lot is huge, the landscape is striking and the beach is wide. The beach is part of a salt marsh meadow ecosystem that is unlike any I’ve ever experienced.

The National Park system has great passes for seniors. Once you turn 62 years old, you can buy a lifetime pass that will get you into any park anywhere in the United States for the rest of your life! The current price for this incredible deal is $80.00. Children under the age of sixteen, those with permanent disabilities, active duty military and their dependents get in free. There’s also an America the Beautiful pass for anyone that is $80.00 per year. This pass is valid at more than 2,000 federal recreation sites. You can buy these passes online or at the beach entrance booths.
