Due to the unusual circumstances which we now live in as a result of the coronavirus, otherwise known as COVID-19, the Town of Mashpee has responded to Governor Baker’s order issued on March 23, 2020, concerning the closing of various workplaces. With an emergency already declared at the local, state, and federal levels, the severity of this pandemic must be taken into account, and safeguards for the workplace and public health are critical. Unfortunately, on March 23, 2020, we received the news that Mashpee has two confirmed cases.
